Now, make those observations, beginning with how your tongue lies in your mouth, and then noting how it coordinates with head and eye movements and with where you focus your attention. And notice how clearly you are aware now of the surfaces of your tongue. Turn your head very quickly side to side, taking note of how your head is moving. Also, with your mouth opened short of straining, take your tongue side to side and notice whether that movement has improved. Sit quietly, with your eyes closed, and try to make some further observations.
